Description

Leaders set the tone for workplace well-being. This micro-credential will equip leaders with the tools to build resilient teams. Creating a culture of mental wellness allows employees to feel safe, valued and heard. This will improve productivity reduce burnout and absenteeism and ultimately, create a workplace where employees can thrive.
Leaders will also learn the importance of nurturing their own self-care to prevent burnout for themselves in order to be the best leader possible.

Learning Objectives Recognize the importance of mental wellness in leadership by understanding how stress, burnout, and well-being impact engagement, retention, and team performance and how to shift from reactive to preventative

  • Think about a time when stress affected your ability to show up to work as your best self? What were the warning signs? What helped or didn’t help? Did you wait until you were burnt out to do something?

  • Encourage a culture where asking for help is normalized. Remind team of resources that exist

  • Encouraging clear expectations and boundaries on the team to prevent burnout
