Dee Maddox is the Chief Excellence Officer of DMX Consulting, LLC. With extensive human resources experience, she is a dedicated professional passionate about reintroducing the 'H.U.M.A.N. element into solutions that empower organizations to succeed. Dee is a strategic HR partner, accomplished leadership development trainer, professional keynote speaker, published author, and frequent podcast guest. Dee's personalized and dynamic approach is well-recognized. Clients and colleagues describe her as a knowledgeable and talented professional who consistently strives to understand each business's unique needs while prioritizing people over processes to improve the employee experience. Her commitment to a people-first philosophy has earned her recognition, including being named one of the 2023 Your Hour, Her Power Women's History Month Honorees, the 2022 Junior League of Collin County Volunteer of the Year, and graduating from Leadership Frisco Class XXIV in 2021. She takes pride in having served as the Human Capital Team Lead for the NASA Space Shuttle Retirement and its historical significance. Dee earned a bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MBA with HR specialization from George Washington University. Michele is not just a speaker—she’s a practitioner who has spent decades in the trenches of HR leadership and consulting. Her insights come from 15 years of hands-on experience as a corporate HR leader, followed by over a decade of consulting with more than 200 early-stage and high-growth companies. Michele's credibility stems from doing the work, navigating real-world challenges, and driving results for organizations. 

In addition to her extensive practical experience, Michele graduated in December 2024 with a Master's Degree in Human Resources and a Certificate in Organization Development from the University of Texas, Tyler.

While she frequently speaks on a wide range of HR and business topics, her relevance and thought leadership come from her active involvement in shaping people strategies and fostering cultures of excellence. Her presentations are rooted in practical experience, making her insights both engaging and actionable for her audiences.

Michele is also a business leader, mentor, and community leader. She serves on the Boards of DallasHR, Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors, and is an active volunteer with the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur Academy, Code to College, and is a member of HERTexas, and SHRM. Michele was the 2024 recipient of DallasHR’s HR Consultant of the Year, and a finalist for DEI Leader of the Year.
